  • What packages are available?
Most of our patients use their medical insurance to pay for our services, but insurance companies have some down-sides. They usually only cover a couple of nutrition appointments per year. This is great if you want to learn a little more about nutrition, but it doesn't set you up to achieve long-term goals. Research shows that accountability has a major impact on achieving goals. Our packages are set up to help you make life-long changes to your health. Packages include: unlimited chat with your personal Registered Dietitian, food/goal/weight logging, and a weekly appointment. All of these things are available on our online portal and app.

  • How does metabolic testing work?
During a metabolic test you will wear a mask for 10 minutes that will measure your oxygen consumption and carbon dioxide production. Based on this information the calories you need at rest is determined. A dietitian then calculates how many calories your body needs in a day. The test will also determine whether your body is using more carbohydrates or fats at rest. This will all be considered when the dietitian makes your custom meal plan. To prepare for the test you must be fasted overnight (8 hours) and not exercised for the past four hours. Visit "Our Services" to learn more about metabolic testing.
  • Do I need to go to my appointment in person?
No, you can attend your appointment in person, through video call, or through phone call. However, if your appointment is a metabolic test you will need to come to our Las Vegas location in person.
