FAQ

Questions? We have answers.

How long will the appointment be?

Consultations with a dietitian are 60 minutes unless otherwise requested.
Nope! Dietitians are available to meet in person, over a video call, or over the phone. The type of visit can be chosen when you book your appointment.
Before coming to your appointment you will be sent paperwork to fill out. To fill out this paperwork, have a list of medications and supplements you take regularly nearby. The dietitians will have your paperwork on hand during your appointment.
Registered dietitians are often called registered dietitian nutritionists. This can make the difference between dietitians and nutritionists confusing. However, a dietitian has completed an accredited degree, on the job training, and passed a licensure exam. Those who are nutritionists, not dietitians, do not need to complete any formal education. This means they are licensed to practice medical nutrition therapy. Dietitians are trained to use nutrition to treat diseases, make specific nutrition recommendations, and know how to apply current science to nutrition. While nutritionists may not give bad or harmful advice, trusting a licensed dietitian will ensure you are visiting a professional who is trained to help you based on your specific needs.
